Innkalling til årsmøte i UiODoc / Invitation to the UiODoc annual meeting

Årsmøtet avholdes 6. juni kl 15.30 i Lucy Smiths hus (Administrasjonsbygningen), Stort møterom i 10.
etg.
Det skal avholdes valg av nytt styre, hvor
det er 5-6 plasser med fortrinnsvis representanter fra forskjellige fakulteter
innen HumSam og MedNat, og en internasjonal stipendiat. Kom om du vil bruke
sjansen til å skaffe deg et stipendiatnettverk utenfor ditt fagmiljø eller om
du bare vil høre om våre aktiviteter og delta i diskusjonen.

Mer
om styrearbeid i UiODOc:
I det siste året har styrearbeidet bestått
i å arrangere møter for tillitsvalgte, arrangere en større debatt om
midlertidighet og et karriereveiledningsseminar. Vervet gir muligheter til å
lære om Universitetspolitikk og påvirke avgjørelser i tillegg til å skaffe
nettverk blant andre stipendiater og ledelse.
I 2012 er det planlagt at UiODoc skal
arrangere en større karriereveiledningsdag finansiert av UiO på høsten. I
tillegg vil det bli viktig med videre arbeid med å få på plass kompensasjon for
leder og nestleder og en fast finansieringsøtte, slik at UiODoc kan ble en
større og tydeligere organsasjon og legge til grunn for et solid nettverk på
UiO.

Invitation to the UiODoc annual meeting
The annual meeting of
2012 will be held June 6th 3.30 pm (15.30) in the building “Lucy Smiths hus” (Administration building),
in meeting room “Stort møterom” in 10th floor.
An election for the
new board will be held, and there are
5-6 positions for fellows representing different faculties at UiO, and at least
one international fellow. Come if
you want to use this opportunity to get a PhD-network within different
academic groups or if you just want to learn more about UiODoc and participate
in the discussions.

More about the work in the UiODoc board:
In 2011/2012 the work
of the board has consisted of organizing a couple of meetings for all
representatives of the temporary academic staff at UiO and a career planning
seminar, holding a debate about the challenges of temporary employment vs.
permanent employment. As a part of the board you are granted oppertunities to
learn about the university politics and influence the decisions as well as
aquiring a interdisiplinary academic network between PhD-fellows.
In 2012 the future
plans for UiODoc is to organize a day-seminar about career planning in
cooperation with and funded by UiO. In addition it will be crucial to follow up
he work on possible economical support from UiO, so that UiODoc can become a
bigger and more visible organization and be the ground of a solid an big
network between ph.d. fellows at UiO.
